Fear vs Timing

Both tell you to stop. Here's how to tell them apart.

VS SERIES — EPISODE 02

FEAR vs TIMING

They feel identical from the inside. Here's what tells them apart.

FEAR
  • Loops — the same scenario, again and again
  • No end condition — the gate stays open
  • Body contracts: breath shortens, chest tightens
  • Can't name what it's waiting for
  • More stuck after thinking, not less

"Not yet. (And it never names when.)"

TIMING
  • Reads once — then it's done
  • Has an end condition: a specific what
  • Body is held, not contracted — there's space in it
  • Can name the condition being waited for
  • Stillness, not anxiety

"Not yet. When X is in place, then."

THE QUESTION

What specifically are you waiting for? Name the condition — not the feeling.

VS is a series about the pairs of states that get confused most. Next: Intuition vs Anxiety.
